NEW FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER / HOUSEHOLD MANAGER POSITION IN PEORIA, $30/hr!67th Ave & Jomax: This wonderful professional returning family of ours is seeking a full time housekeeper / household manager to join their busy household and be an extension of the parents in an effort to keep their household running smoothly. The consistent schedule is typically Monday – Friday from 6:30AM – 2:30PM.  However flexibility is important and the availability to stay until 6PM when needed is desired. (with a week in advance notice).  The family has 4 children ( 13, 9, 6, and 3) and although childcare duties are not primary for this role, the family may need the housekeeper / household manager to assist with the children & pick up a child or more on occasion from school and transport them to extracurricular activities. The children are all 4 in school full-time and leave the home by 7:30AM and are in school until 3:30PM.  During school breaks and summer, Mom adjusts her work schedule to be with the kids. With 2 professional parents and 4 children, the household tasks are always in motion and therefore Mom needs an extension of her — a proactive individual who can multi-task and is efficient at time management and taking great initiative and can efficiently tackle all needs of the household without being micromanaged. This includes cleaning their 2400 square foot home: 4 bedrooms & 3 1/2 bathrooms.  Other housekeeping / household management duties include: making breakfast and lunch for the kids before school, meal prep for dinner (cooking is not a necessity but is a bonus), chopping veggies and fruit, family laundry & linens, tidying up,kids toys, making beds, supervising chores with kids, running errands (pick up/ drop off groceries, Sam’s Club, Walmart or Target order, post office), seasonal organizational projects, linen closet, dusting off patio furniture.
Ideal characteristics:  friendly, organized, proactive, self-motivated, creative, and a multitasker. The family prefers a candidate who has prior experience running a household and has preferably raised children of their own.  Flexibility is needed.  They have a casual atmosphere in their home. Mom may be home working or in and out.  Dad is a physician. Grandparents live out of state and visit frequently and will stay in the home during their visits. The family is ideally desiring a longterm commitment of 3-5 years.  Driving is needed for errands and transporting children. A car is provided or gas is reimbursed if own car is used.
