What are some typical benefits for household staff?

It is standard for families to give their staff guaranteed hours, a two week paid vacation after 6 months to a year and 6-8 paid holidays. This is not just a job to your employee, but a career, and they are normally paid 52 weeks per year. If you’re going on an extended vacation, they can do additional tasks such as home organization, servicing vehicles, spring cleaning, pet care or house sitting.
