NEW FLEXIBLE FULL-TIME NANNY POSITION IN PARADISE VALLEY, $28-$32/hr

Tatum & Shea: This fabulous professional returning family of 5 is seeking a stellar, proactive flexible nanny to join their busy household and assist in keeping it running smoothly. They have a 10 year old son, a 4 year old son and a 20 month old daughter. Their 10 year old son is in 5th grade and is so independent and is the most helpful big brother. He is busy in club basketball and needs to be provided with structure in regards to chores and homework.Their 4 year old son is in preschool every day from 7:45 – 3 and is described as the typical middle child. He is so happy and sweet and then will switch it up. He is at the impressionable age where they are trying to guide and teach him. Their 20 month old daughter is an angel baby. She’s so easy going and goes down for a nap easily and is on a great schedule. She is the best and easiest princess baby and goes to a mother’s daycare program from 9 -3. The nanny schedule needed is flexible, mostly afternoons/ evenings during the week and then 2 full weekends a month for a guaranteed 80 hours over the course of 2 weeks. They have a casual yet fast-paced atmosphere in their home. They hired a housekeeper through Caring Nannies last year and it has been the perfect fit. She says they are a dream family to work for. Their current nanny has been with them for 4 years and moved to AZ with them from TX last year and now she is ready for her next chapter so they are seeking another wonderful longterm commitment and desire to find a nanny who will become part of their family for years to come. The primary need during the week is 2:30 – 8PM Monday – Thursday and then 1:30 – 8PM on Friday and then every other weekend the nanny will be working both Saturday and Sunday for a full day’s shift (8 – 10 hour shifts anywhere between as early as 7AM to as late as 11PM if they have an event) and the exact schedule will be given a month in advance. When the weekend shifts are needed, the nanny will have 2 days off during the week of her choosing. It can be 2 consecutive days off or the days can be split — whichever is best for the nanny. There is a guaranteed 80 hrs per pay period (2 weeks). The schedule is known a month in advance. An example of their current nanny’s schedule is as follows: M-TH from 2-8PM, Friday 2-10PM , off Sat and Sunday and then the following week M-W from 2-8PM, off TH & Fri and then work Sat and Sun from 8AM – 8PM. Nanny must be comfortable staying overnights with the 3 kids while parents are traveling and the travel is known months in advance. They are also desiring a nanny who is flexible and can travel with the family, including internationally so ideally a nanny who loves travel and different cultures. Mom and Dad have private home offices and a full-time housekeeper is also present in the home. Their sweet 93 year old grandmother also lives in the home. Pets: 3 smaller senior dogs and 1 crested gecko. Nanny must be an animal person and comfortable with dogs as their dogs are their babies. The family is seeking a nanny who plans to be with their family for the foreseeable future. They feel this position is the most important position in their home. They are desiring a proactive nanny with lots of energy, excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and efficiently care for 3 kids and be a true extension of the parents. They are a fast paced family, with a lot of extra curricular activities and moving parts so they need a nanny who can catch on quickly and assist in all aspects of their busy household without being micromanaged. There is a nanny binder provided with all pertinent information regarding daily activities and routines. Important qualities and characteristics include: active, organized, health-conscious, intrinsically motivated, proactive, loving, patient, takes great initiative, kind but also ability to be firm when needed. Driving is needed to and from school, practices and extracurricular activities and a family car is provided for the nanny’s use. The full-time position begins mid-December however they are able to provide part-time hours starting mid November for the right candidate. Compensation: $28-$32/hr. Paid Vacation. Paid Holidays.
