Beth Weise

Founder

Beth founded Caring Nannies in 1983 after working 13 years in the teaching profession. She received double majors in Education and Biology from Arizona State University and had since taught preschool through high school in public and private schools. She had taken many additional educational and counseling courses and seminars and was well-read in the childcare field. Beth also worked as a Baby Nurse for 14 years, including quadruplets, triplets and twins. As a working mom, she had a passion to help children learn in a way that delights them. Having five children and thirteen grandchildren and counting, she has had her own Live-In and Out Nannies over the years, so she felt compassionate towards the needs of both the nannies and caregivers. Her goal was to develop trusted, secure and long-term relationships between families and caregivers. In her free time, she loves mountain bike riding, gardening, hiking, yoga, camping on the Mogollon Rim and spending time with family and friends. Beth retired from Caring Nannies in December 2015 after 32 wonderful years.

Jenny Riojas

Family Placement Counselor

Jenny is very enthusiastic about matching our top-notch nannies and household professionals with our exceptional families throughout the Valley. A mother of two caring, charming boys and a professional career nanny / household manager of 11 years, she understands how vital it is to find not only quality childcare for your children but also the perfect match for the entire family. A native of Arizona, Jenny graduated from the University of AZ with a BA in Elementary Education and a Minor in Family Studies. She spent nine wonderful years living in Colorado where she began her career in the nanny industry, first as a Placement Consultant for Colorado’s leading nanny agency, ABC Nannies, and then as a nanny/ household manager for several families throughout the Denver area. Denver is also where she became a mother. Before her role as a Placement Consultant, she worked for a lead staffing agency in Denver, gaining valuable staffing skills and experience. In addition to nannying for over a decade, she has worked with children in preschool settings, church nurseries, on-on-one tutoring, as well as a Special Education Paraprofessional for elementary through high school students. Her extensive experience with children of all ages along with her education and personal experience as a mother and as an employer of household staff — are invaluable and provide her with a unique prospective into the needs of both the nannies and the families throughout the placement process. In her free time, Jenny loves being a sports’ mom to her athletic boys, hiking, camping, traveling, trips to the beach, and spending quality time with friends and family. Jenny worked closely along-side Beth from 2011 – 2015 as the Placement Counselor, with Beth as her professional mentor. In December 2015, Beth retired after 32 successful years and happily passed the Caring Nannies’ torch to Jenny.

Rebecka Watson

Nanny Recruiter /Event Coordinator

Rebecka is an amazing asset to the Caring Nannies team as our Nanny Recruiter and Special Events Coordinator. She has previous experience as one of our stellar nannies so she understands the importance of finding the perfect nanny for each family and the essential qualities and characteristics that make up a quality nanny. Plus she is a mom herself! She assists in the nanny screening, vetting and interviewing process; as well as uses her creativity and organizational skills to plan and coordinate our weddings and special events. Prior to nannying, she worked as an Outdoor Environment Teacher at Villa Montessori Charter School. Eventually, she chose to trade the bustling classroom for a more intimate, family oriented setting and became a full time nanny. She has worked with a few of our amazing families since 2009 and has 2 beautiful children of her own: a beautiful daughter and adorable son. Her mothering style mirrors her nannying style. She is hands-on and nurturing, while encouraging children to learn with their peers and by exploring their thoughtfully planned environments. When she is not doting over her daughter and son or chasing her German shepherd around, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Her favorite vacation spot is Sedona, AZ where she and her husband exchanged their wedding vows. She describes her favorite day as waking up in Sedona, taking in a morning hike on one of the numerous trails she has explored there, then spending the afternoon lounging by the pool with family and a good book.
